What happens at a weekend retreat?
The retreats vary, for each retreat focuses on a different theme and distinct activities related to the theme. At each, people relax, recharge and revitalize. All the elements of Tamarkoz® are included. It is a time to let go of everyday habits and worries, and concentrate on nourishing your soul. At each retreat, you listen to beautiful poetry, enjoy the melodious chanting of the Sufi Zikr, practice breathing techniques, release tension in relaxation exercises, and focus on reconnecting with the spiritual realm. You practice Movazeneh® each morning, and enjoy the Zikr and a guided visualization each evening.
The retreats are led by instructors with master’s or doctoral degrees who have been selected and trained by Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Shah Angha, Pir, Oveyssi.
Where are retreats held? In a NEW place!

In addition to the khaneghah, there is a community room large enough for the varied activities, a kitchen and dining area, two cottages for guests, lawns, and a garden.
Attendees can fly into Sacramento, and if they wish, drive to the Memorial Building on Sunday morning and fly home from Sacramento, Oakland, or San Francisco.
